Hammered Copper Birdbath with Clamp-on Bracket for Railings

This simple hammered copper birdbath bowl attaches to a wrought iron railing bracket. The shallow bowl has a round hammered or "peened" texture and an antique copper finish that will patina naturally. Perfect for porches, balconies, or deck rails, the wrought iron bracket has a C-type clamp that holds the bracket to the railing without the need for drilling or permanent mounting. The copper bowl is threaded right onto the bracket. For happy birds, fill the bowl with about 2 inches of water, as pictured, leaving the sloping rim area for perching!
-Bowl measures 14" in diameter x 2 1/2"D
-Made of hammered stainless steel with copper plating
-Bowl has a clear coat to protect the copper finish. The clear coat will dissolve over time to form a natural patina
-The wrought iron bracket is 13 1/2"W x 12" H (not including the threaded pin)
-Clamp opening will fit a maximum of 3 1/2" thick railing. May not be suitable for hollow vinyl railing.
-Bracket is made of wrought iron with a Black powder coated finish for weather resistance
**If you desire to keep the birdbath looking as good as new, you can recoat your birdbath with a clear sealant to protect the copper-plated finish.**
If you are looking to protect the finish, you will want to apply an eco-friendly, VOC-free sealant. You can also use any polyurethane or marine-safe sealant as long as it adheres to metal and is food and pet-safe after it has fully cured. Here are a few options that may work for your type of application:
