This is a birdbath specifically designed with our pollinator friends in mind. The center flower has petals that dip into the water, providing a landing place for bees and butterflies to sip at the water's edge without falling in. The simple copper bowl has a white dogwood flower that fits into the center. Use it with or without the addition of glass beads or stones. The threaded base on the underside of the bowl attaches it to the center of the wrought iron railing bracket. Ideal for porch, balcony, or deck rails, the wrought iron bracket has a C-type clamp that holds the bracket without the need for drilling or permanent mounting. Fits railings up to 5 1/2" wide and is designed to fit around a curve-topped handrail.
-Bowl measures 12" diameter x 3 1/2"D and has a threaded base that attaches to the stand
-Made of stainless steel with copper plating and white patina
-Bowl has a clear coat to protect the copper finish. The clear coat will dissolve over time to form a natural patina
-Wrought iron bracket will fit over railings up to 5 1 /2" wide. It may not be suitable for hollow vinyl or metal railings.
-Bracket is finished with a black powder-coated finish; Pin has a nickel-plated finish

Lovely Birdbath for my little balcony railing! I'm still waiting for the birdies to show up, but I read that may take some time. Or they are showing up at night ... hmmm. You won't be sorry with this item. One little thing ... not a biggy for me, but shipping took a little longer than expected, but that didn't take any stars away from this review. I know it's busy season for these types of businesses so all's good. Thank you!!

It’s lovely. I would like it a bit bigger but it is the appropriate size for my deck. I had birds check it out but no takers, yet. It will be easy for me to change out the water, too.

Copper basin is pretty. Dogwood flower is unexpectedly flimsy. The inverted U-shaped piece of metal is not thick enough--it expands when screwed rather than resisting for holding power. Engineer hubby points out that it's a bad design all round.
