This is a PAIR of wrought iron wall brackets. Projecting from the wall at a 45-degree angle with a hooked end, these sturdy brackets are perfect for bird feeders or baskets, birdbaths, and holding items away from the wall or deck post. Forged from round stock, with a tapered hook, and two mounting holes at the base.

I was experiencing raccoon raids and damage to my existing birdfeeder and needed to get it a bit higher on the 4 x 4. So I used this item with its angle to achieve that. In addition it is stronger so will not bend as the other hook has. Raccoons are stymied and I am saving money on bird seed.

I bought a heavy long set of chimes to use at my house. They’re so long I couldn’t hang them from a shepherd’s crook. I tried twice to hang them from a flag pole attached to a post on my porch. Three times the chimes bent the pole or the nails holding the flag pole and came crashing to the ground. So, I just let them rest on the ground as I thought about what to do to hang these beautiful chimes! Nothing was working. I found this heavy duty iron hanger that points up and not straight out. I ordered it, hung it up yesterday and everything is great so far. I live in the country in the mountains and it is really windy up here. I have stopped hanging flags, but I want to hear my wind chimes with that beautifully han wind streaming around them. I had to use longer more sturdy screws than the ones I got. Seems good so far.
